Hello Simple Stories friends, it’s Becki here to share a scrapbook page with you that I created with the new Simple Vintage Linen Market collection. Summer is finally here! I’m so excited for warmer weather, summer photos AND, of course, summer scrapbooking! The new Simple Vintage Linen Market is gorgeous and perfect for summer scrapbooking.
A few weeks ago, my husband and I went on a weekend getaway to New York City. We had so much fun and came home with our camera rolls full of photos of our adventure. On our first day in the city, we went to the Museum of Natural History. One of our favorite exhibits at the museum was the butterfly exhibit.
Before we left, I knew the Simple Vintage Linen Market would be landing on my doorstep shortly after we got home. I knew that the photos from this exhibit would coordinate perfectly with this collection. I was right!
We have dozens of photos of beautiful butterflies, flowers, and gorgeous foliage. I chose three of my favorite photos and printed them at 4” x 3”. I lined the photos up on the left side of the layout and added a large fussy cut floral cluster on the right. With those two elements, most of my page was finished.
Of course, I had to add my title, a few extra butterflies, some machine stitching and journaling to complete the layout.
I LOVE how this layout came together! I cannot wait to create more layouts, cards, and maybe even a mini album with this stunning collection. I cannot wait for this collection to land in stores and to see what YOU create with the Simple Vintage Linen Market collection. Happy summer and happy scrapbooking!
