I’ve been a little slower than usual when it comes to working on my SN@P! Album this year. Lots of same-y photos or less cheerful but still important moments that I wanted to document. I was able to get a few of those pages done using the Quarantined Simple Set. It was just what I needed. Very on theme for this year with a bit of a silly yet hopeful tone which I so needed. These two layouts are from my family album for this year, one from March and one from September. I’m using 2- 6x8 albums this year and I just love the Simple Stories Designer Binders. They just look so cute all lined up with the stripes. I’ve got everything in a yellow one right now, but I’l have to add another once I finish sorting photos, I just have to pick a colour. Other than the Quarantined Simple Set and the Yellow Stripe Designer Binder I also used the Color Vibe Bold Alpha Sticker Book which coordinated well.
This page from March seems forever ago! I love all the rainbows in the Quarantined kit so I leaned into that on this page a lot. The bright We’re in this Together 4x6 card cut from one of the cardstock sheets in the kit was a perfect anchor for the page. There are so many cut aparts!!
I used another cut apart from the Quarantined kit next to a photo from a grocery shopping trip. There are so many great little listing and journalling cut aparts on the Virtual Life and Currant Reality cardstock sheets that make it easy to fill in and document all kinds of things like this prep list, movie and book lists, lists of the good and bad and more. I used a mix of stickers from the Combo Sticker Sheet in the kit and some of the Bold Alpha Stickers to add a bold graphic element on my photo.
There’s lots of great stickers on the Quarantined Combo Sticker Sheet and I used them all over here. Some phrases and icons to add a little inside as to what’s going on.
This page from September has some last minute back to school shopping photos on the left with another one of those rainbows and the hilarious just roll with it 3x4 card. On the right I did some actual journalling, which is not my usual style, on one of the great little journal elements from the Virtual Life cardstock.
I love the hopeful message on this 3x4 journal card from the Quarantined Life cardstock and it looks great next to this photo of my boys that I just adore. This might be one of my favourite pages in my album this year (so far, Christmas is coming!)
I hope you liked this look into my album and are inspired to tackle the less exciting moments. If you need a little hope and cheer while documenting everything going on right now, the Quarantine Simple Set is pretty great and makes it a little easier.
