Hello scrapbooking friends! Anya's here today and I am so happy to be back with another fall-themed layout created with the "Cider and Donuts" collection. There is a story I wanted to tell about my boys sharing an ice cream. I found a photo of them, but this photo didn't have bright fall colors on it. To create a color scheme that matched my photo, I picked two patterned papers that worked well with the photo and added a grey wood-grain paper from the "Color Vibe Woods" collection.
One of the design tips I wanted to share today is adding a title between journaling. To do so, I start by placing a piece of white cardstock as I want it to appear on my layout. After deciding where my title will go, I measure the spots for journaling with a ruler and type my journaling. It may require an extra print or two to get it perfect, but it's worth the effort.
The page with the tags is always one of my favorite papers in every collection. I use these tags all the time and am always happy to find new ways to include them in my projects. Here I used three tags to the right side of the journaling block. You could add hidden journaling to them, but in my case, they are just a decorative element.
Thank you for visiting Simple Stories blog and I hope you will be back soon for more inspiration!
