Hello cardmaking friends! Anya's here today with some card inspiration for a very popular Simple Vintage Lemon Twist collection! I am absolutely loving this gorgeous line and still have big plans for it, but today I would like to share a set of cards I created using the stunning yellow/teal color combination.
For the base of each card I used both 12x12” and 6x8” paper and concentrated on using ephemera to decorate each card. I love the variety die cut pieces provide, and sometimes you just have to play with different options until one of the designs creates itself by falling with the right pieces. Other times, I do have a specific plan to use a few pieces to create a floral bouquet or a fun cluster.
For this specific card, I used four quadrants as the base of the card, in order to use more patterns on the card. I added a thing white border to each rectangle and adhered them to the card base with pop dots. It created a fun background for the focal point of the card right in the center.
There are endless options you can make using these beautiful flowers, lemons and butterflies! Here are a couple more options I came up with while playing with these decorative pieces...
Thank you for stopping by here at Simple Stories blog! Hope you were inspired by these cards today and will come back again soon for more inspiration!
