Hi Friends! Andrea with you today sharing a fun Star-shaped mini album with the beautiful ‘Into the Wild’ collection by Simple Stories. I use the 3D Three Layer Star Mini Album Cut file designed by Jamie Lane Designs as inspiration. I included photos from our kids visiting the zoo and I wanted to create the idea of different animal exhibits. I am so happy with how this mini album turned out.
I started by cutting two pieces of chipboard at (4 x 4”) and covered the outside using patterned paper. I then cut seven pieces of Orange Color Vibe Cardstock at (4 x 8”), seven pieces of different patterned paper at (3 ½ x 7”), and 7 more pieces of patterned paper at (5 ½ x 3”). I added machine stitching details around the edges of each piece and folded them in half. I added one piece of ribbon to the inside of each cover and then adhered one of the orange cardstock pieces to each inside cover. I placed adhesive on the edges of all of my cardstock and patterned paper pieces. I connected the base with the Orange Color Vibe Cardstock, moved to the medium size pieces and connected them to the base by adhering the smaller pages to the center edge of the previous pieces.
I decorated each ‘Exhibit’ trying to match the photos to the specific animal and cutest embellishments I could find. It was so much fun to go back in time and enjoy these old memories.
I hope this project inspires you to get creative using this fun ‘Into the Wild’ collection by Simple Stories. Let me know if you have any questions. I would love to see what you create with it.
