Hey friends! Brianna Lepper here and I'm SO thrilled to share a layout with y'all using the new Simple Vintage Scary Stories collection. I love Halloween and I love anything vintage so, this collection truly has my heart. Here's my page:
As always, we are going to start with a Color Vibe cardstock base. I chose not one, not two, but three different ones. I used Warm White, Black and Orange. I then went thought the patterned papers and selected So Ghostly and What A Scream. I trimmed them down and layered them both together. I just love the checkered pattern from the So Ghostly (B Side) paper. It really pops!
When I told you earlier I was in love with this collection, I really meant it.. I had a hard time not using every single embellishment.. hah! I mean look at this chipboard skeleton.. Both adorable and creepy enough for a fun Halloween page. I built this cluster using a few of the Cardstock Stickers and a few Foam Stickers.
I chose to layer a Chipboard Frame under my photo and added that 'Halloween' banner from the Foam Stickers. It fit perfectly!! I adhered it towards the top of the page since I planned on having a large title and wanted it to fit right under my photo.
My title is a phrase from the Chipboard Sticker sheet and I made sure to add foam tape underneath it. I tucked in that dapper looking cat from the Bits and Pieces pack to the top right of it and I love how it looks!
I added some pieces from the Journal Bits and Sentiment Bits packs into my clusters. When it was time for the smaller embellishments, I sprinkled in a few of the Decorative Brads and finished the layout off with some gold ink splatters.
