Hi friends!
It’s Jen today with a bright, wintery project using the soon-to-be-released FEELIN’ FROSTY collection, which is perfect for this sweet photo.
I love all of the cute elements included with the collection and decided to highlight them by creating a banner. Doing this allowed me to use a bit of everything including tags, die cuts, and stickers.
Creating the banner was super easy thanks to the 12 x 12 Double-Sided Tags patterned paper. After selecting which tags to use, and making one of my own that backs the photo, I began embellishing them with all of the goodies from the collection. You’ll even notice a few sparkly snowflakes on the deer, which I added using the Frosty Snowflakes 6 x 6 Stencil. Next, I laid everything across the page. This part of the process usually takes the longest amount of time because I arranged and rearranged everything until it was just right.
Once I was happy with the look of the banner, I adhered the embellished tags with foam squares to pop them off the page. After attaching everything, I threaded the twine through the tags and embellishments. Many people probably thread the twine through first, but this way seems to work better for me.
To create the title, I used foam stickers to create the title along the bottom of the banner. Below that, I added a bit of hand-written journaling to document the story.
Last, I sprinkled on a few die cut snowflakes with adhesive brads to complete the layout. This collection is so cute and I cannot wait to use it again to document our fun winter memories.
Thank you so much for stopping by today, and I hope you have been inspired to create!
