Hey friends, welcome back to the blog today! I’m so excited to share a brand-new project featuring the Simple Vintage Flannel Season collection paired with the 6x8 Black Snap Flipbook. This combination is the perfect mix of cozy textures, warm tones, and winter magic—exactly what I needed to document some of my favorite snowy memories with the kids. ❄️✨
I began by pulling out both the 6x8 paper pad and the 12x12 collection pack. From the 12x12 papers, I used 3x4 elements, 4x6 elements, Tag elements and Journaling elements papers.
These pieces are absolute lifesavers when working with flipbooks or SN@P! binders. Everything is already perfectly sized, beautifully coordinated, and ready to slide right into the pocket pages or layer onto the chipboard inserts.
I collected a handful of photos of my kids playing in the snow—some silly, some sweet, and all of them filled with winter joy. I added these throughout the album, mixing full-size photos with smaller prints so every page feels different and fun to flip through.
On the pocket pages, I added all of the Bits & Pieces, enamel dots, brads and stickers from the 12x12 cardstock sticker sheet.
For the cover, I used two of the Chipboard Frames from the collection and added photos to them. I then layered the frame with Bits & Pieces, cardstock stickers, enamel dots, and brads to bring all the texture and dimension this wintry album deserved. It gives the whole flipbook that perfectly bundled-up feel.
This flipbook was such a joy to put together. The Simple Vintage Flannel Season collection has a way of making every page feel like a warm mug of cocoa—full of comfort, texture, and heart.
