Ski Lodge Fun Layout by Andrea Lake
Hi, Friends! Andrea here sharing a 12x12 layout with the fun and colorful Snow Pine Lodge collection by Simple Stories. This was the perfect collection to document our trip to the Loveland Ski Area in Colorado where my husband and I took our first ski lesson in 2022.
The kids have been skiing for a few years now, but this was our first time, and we loved every second. The Snow Pine Lodge collection is simply beautiful and the patterned papers are gorgeous. I had fun fussy cutting one of the papers with the snow, Christmas market tents and pine trees, and creating a scalloped border using the green star paper. I used white and blue Simple Stories Cardstock to create the snowy ground and the blue-sky effect of this page.
Layering all these pieces and papers was definitely fun, and things got better when it was time to add my photo, title (created with the gorgeous foam stickers, as usual) and my journaling, that’s when I had the most fun. I love incorporating bits & pieces, stickers and finishing elements such as enamel dots in my layouts.
