Love Never Ends! by Andrea Lake

Hi Friends! I am so excited and grateful to be joining this amazing team. My name is Andrea Lake and I have a cute mini album for you today. I used the beautiful Happily Ever After collection to create the perfect gift for one of my friends who will be getting married soon. I love everything about this collection: from the elegant patterns and colors to the embellishments that helped to add the final touches to the project.

To put together this wedding gift, I selected one of the patterned paper and a double pocket box cut file. These pockets are holding a mini album and some decorated cards where the bride and groom can add details of their special day. The idea is for them to be able to add as many notes and photos as they can in a small box full of details. I then chose a second patterned paper from the collection to create a second layer of interest on the box. I machine stitched all the edges of the box.

To decorate the outside of the box I used some chipboard stickers, a couple of stickers from the main kit, and layered them with foam tape to add dimension. I also added a few enamel dots to the center of some of the flowers.

For the cover of the mini album, I used a beautiful chipboard sticker and placed it on top of a couple of fussy cut flowers. I couldn’t resist adding two self-adhesive brads to match the flowers. I used one piece of Warm White textured cardstock as the base for the cards that are in the second pocket of this box. This is another way to add details and make this project a special one for my dear friend.

I combine different products throughout the pages of the album. I used patterned papers for all my base pages, I then played with chipboard and regular stickers, some self-adhesive brads, the journal bits, and ephemera, as well as a few puffy stickers and enamel dots to keep the project fun and interesting. I imagine my friend flipping the pages of the album not really knowing what to expect.

I love how this project turned out!! I hope it inspires you to use the new Happily Ever After collection! There are so many different projects you can create and many ways to incorporate each one of the products into them.
