It's Sophie @so_scrappy on the blog today and I am thrilled to share this layout with you!
I used the GORGEOUS Heart Strings collection for it.
I decided to create three different sized hearts with scraps of cardstock, traced them on some of my favorite patterned papers from the collection and cut them out. I fussy cut a little scalloped edge on white cardstock for the inside of each heart.
I surrounded my sweet photo with these three handmade hearts, some of them popped up with foam dots.
I added two strips of a floral paper on the top and bottom of my layout and added a zigzag stitch on them.
I created two floral clusters using die cuts from the Floral Bits and Sentiment Bits on the hearts, around my photo.
Finally, I hand wrote my journaling directly on the background of the page, added a few Decorative Brads and stamped the date.
