Hi friends!
Here is Mik from Papermiks to share more flipbook inspirations using the lovely Cozy Days collection!
I love Fall colors and everything that comes with it. For this reason, I made this album to record my best moments from this season that I love so much.
Let’s start with the cover.
Whenever I can I use my cameo to make my covers. This time I used the cut file “fall leaves” from Simple Stories that you’ll find on silhouette store at number 306437. When you buy it you will receive three leaves templates. For this cover I used only one of those. I resized the sheet to a 2” size and used 5 of the colors present in the collection palette.
Here I used cardstock from the color vibe collection: Fall, Basic and light.
For the background of the cover I used the paper “Harvest wishes”. While my cameo was working, I cut out two circles: 4” and 3” size. In the 3” circle I pasted the “Hello fall” foam sticker. With the leave already cut, I started gluing them around the 4” circle to form my garland. To finish it I used enamel dots and pasted on the 4 corners of the cover.
For the first page I used this beautiful paper that you find on the 6x8 paper pad. I gave dimension using foam sticker, chipboards, stickers and brads. It was super “Cozy”, don't you think?
As you already know I love to make interactive pages. So as to allow the pocket page to interact with the paper page I made the back with, I removed two pockets from the first page. I added a clipboard “Happy fall” on the pocket page and now we have an interaction between the two.
I love doing this, besides being fun it looks beautiful!
Another fun way to enable interaction to your flipbooks is adding 4x6 cards. Here I cut out a 5 ½”x 6” paper and glued it behind my card. This way I can make the necessary drilling and folding by letting my card appear and interact with the other pages of the album.
Adding pockets to your pages is a great option for you to insert more photos to your albums.
This collection brought a page with only tags. There are countless ideas for using these tags, but my suggestion here is adding notes to your pages. It looks beautiful and still decorates your album.
I hope you’ve got some inspiration from this idea and enjoyed it!
