Let's Eat! by Dorymar Perez

Hello friends, it is Dorymar today with yo to share a colorful and inspiring project that presents the new Apron Strings Collection. When I saw the collection, I was instantly delighted, this collection has bright colors and amazing patterns, flowers, animals, and the cutest kitchen utensils.

Every woman has a recipe book in her kitchen where she treasures the most memorable recipes from her grandmother or mother that make themselves transport back to their childhood. For my cookbook I used the red Sn@p folder because it is the ideal one to create a project with this collection. Sn@p binders have a lot of space and this allows you to include all the recipes you want.

For the cover I used as a base the "What's for Dinner paper" and a 6x4 card that is included in the 4x6 Element Card Paper with the "Recipes" word to create my title. As it is a recipe book, I wanted to decorate its cover in a simple way so that it would not be damaged by use. Around the card I made small agglomerates with pieces that are included in bits and pieces packages and chipboards. I also incorporated some beautiful spoons that I found on my shelves. Everything together look FANTASTIC!

Inside the cover, I made a pocket with one of the pages included in the Sn@p binder and inside it, I made some cards to make notes of simply add to other recipes.

I divided my recipes book into 6 topics: appetizers, soups & salads, main dishes, side dishes and desserts. To decorate each one of them I used the patterned paper included in the 6x8 Paper Pad. Below, you can see each of them in detail.

In some of the divisions I used the Black and white foam alphas from the Color Vibe to create the titles and in others I used some of the die cuts that the collection includes.

The 6x8 papers include beautiful pages that you can use as dividers, in my case I used several of them and used the fussy cut technique to add designs or change the background and thus make it more personalized and full of details.

Here you can see how beautiful are the patterns and gorgeous icons that the collection includes.

Here is my favorite theme of my recipe book, Desserts, "mmm!" To decorate this divider, I used several pieces from the chipboard stickers and three different patterns for my background. I created a fun cluster with cute icons of the collection, they look so cute!

Pockets bring yo  more space and you can be able to add many recipes. For this pocket, I used one of the divider pages of the Sn@p Binder and reduced it to 5" and with a piece of the scrap I ,made a pocket and inside it, I added some beautiful recipe cards that the collection includes.

More close-ups of the inside pages, in these pages you can add pictures of your delicious recipes!

I hope this project inspires you to create a fun one using the stunning Apron Strings Collection. Thanks for stopping by today!
