Hi, Odessa here with some cute pages using the new Sweet Talk collection. Valentine’s scrapbook collections are one of my favourite themes. There are so many hearts and pinks and xoxo’s and all the other things I love! Because of this, I was excited to use Sweet Talk.
I chose the Red Stripe SN@P! Designer Binder to go with the collection. The red is so nice and goes well with the collection. I kept embellishing simple on the outside of the binder. I cut a strip of the red on pink dot patterned Will You Be Mine? cardstock. I layered the scallop edge sticker from the Cardstock Sticker sheet on one side and a washi tape from the collection that has the same blue floral on the other side under the cardstock. On top I used the tile letters from the foam stickers along with the cute hands from the chipboard stickers and some puffy heart stickers. Fun and playful, just like Sweet Talk.
On this page I played around with bits and patterns from the collection. On one side I have a bunch of 2x2 square pockets filled up with cards and embellishments and on the other a full page layout with layers of paper and simple embellishments.
I layered torn rectangles from the Sweet Talk 6x8 paper pad under my photo. I wedged in a couple of tags from the Bits & Pieces to add some journalling and a foam sticker surrounded by hearts and enamel dots to add a title. Simple but cute!
I love filling up little pockets. I alternated 2x2 journal cards with embellishments, using a mix of stickers, Bits & Pieces, foam stickers and chipboard. I didn’t have a real plan here, I used things I liked a lot and it made for a great filler page.
On this page I filled up a bunch of 3x4 pockets with journal cards and photos. On the left I have a couple of photos with big embellishment titles. It’s pretty cutesy! I really like the foam stickers from Sweet Talk and used some on one of my photos. I also used some enamel dots, they’re just so easy to stick on and add dimension! On the right side I kept it simple and let the diagonal cut photo and journal card arrangement shine.
This diagonal arrangement is so simple yet has a striking impact! I simply cut a photo and a journal card on the diagonal and mixed them up. I used a strip of washi on the back to hold them together. I added bold embellishments to my other two photos - the cute rainbow and a trio of foam hearts.
The tag cut apart page in Sweet Talk is adorable. I used this one with a bold type on it to fill one of my pockets. I added one of the larger enamel dots on it and some strips of washi and paper through the top in place of a ribbon.
I hope you enjoyed my project and are inspired to capture some of your own lovely moments in your album.
