Hi friends, it’s Vicki here today sharing a fun Halloween layout using the fabulous Frightful Fun collection. I couldn’t resist using these photos of us dressed up for Halloween, and this collection was just perfect for them. I love the bold orange, black and white colour combination and all those fun spooky details!
I started with the Be Very Afraid paper and layered both sides of the Spooky season paper over the top after tearing a strip from the bottom and flipping it. The little pumpkins on the black paper make the perfect border and I love the texture the torn edges add.
I then layered my photo towards the right of the page and built my embellishment clusters around it.
The large Halloween title was the perfect piece to sit across the bottom of my photo. I tucked in some of the gorgeous pumpkin and floral pieces behind the photo, then added the cute Halloween boots and candy canes around the bottom.
I love adding lots of layers to my embellishment clusters, and using foam adhesive on some of the pieces gives everything a little extra dimension.
On the left side I created another little cluster using the large pumpkin, the 31 piece and the cute cauldron embellishment. I also added a few stars and candy canes to finish the cluster.
I kept the top of the page much simpler, adding the Here Comes the Trouble piece onto a tag along with a little bat. I also scattered a few larger bats around the page to help balance the design and draw your eye around the layout.
I really love how this page came together. The Frightful Fun collection has so many fun embellishments that it makes creating a Halloween page so easy – and I especially love all the little pumpkins and spooky details!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, and I hope I’ve given you a little Halloween inspiration!
Happy scrapping,
Vicki x
