Hi there! It’s Tya here, and I am so excited to share my latest batch of handmade cards with you today! I got to work with one of the CUTEST Fall themed collections this time around! The “Cozy Days” collection could not have been any more fun to work with! As a fan of things fall- comfy clothes, pumpkin flavored treats, walking in the leaves and snuggling in with a good book – this collection just spoke to me! I loved it! I have made 6 cards for you today and I am so happy to get to share them with you! Let’s jump right in!
Card 1 has the cute, bold “Hello Fall” sentiment right in the middle! Isn’t the font so fun? It is from the Journal Bits. I loved the blues in this collection! I added some twine and one of the new adhesive Decorative Brads to the bottom.
I fell in love with that cute little fox, and so he had to make an appearance on Card 2. It was also fun to play with the pattern papers in the collection. I added strips of paper in different widths and then used a scallop border die on the yellow paper. That paper is one of the newest shades in our Color Vibe papers. It is called “Mustard” and it matches perfectly with this collection.
On Card 3- I wanted to make a pocket card that holds one of the tags found on the “Tags” cut apart papers. I located the mason jar card from the 3x4 Element paper and used a circle punch to make a half circle snip out of the top edge. I then glued the 2 sides and the bottom of the card to the card base and then added the tag that I decorated with some stickers to the pocket. This is a fun way to add an interactive element to a card.
Onto Card 4- This “Gather” sentiment sums up Fall so much! I love all the chances that we have to gather together with our loved ones during this glorious season. This would make a great invitation for a get together! I added some paint splatters and some distress ink to the background of this card for a vintage-y look.
Card 5 features another cute fox – this one is from the Chipboard Stickers and I love how he adorns the corner of the card. I used another piece of Color Vibe paper on this card as well – the pink tone on tone dots found on the Blush paper was the perfect shade of pink to match the soothing colors in this collection. The “Fall” banner worked great along the top edge of the banner- it is a sticker from the Cardstock Sticker sheet. I also used some of the Enamel Dots to decorate – that lovely deep brown shade adds some shine to the card.
Card 6 is our last card and if you have seen some of my past work, you know that I like to make little scenes with all the icons in the collection. Here we have a sample of some of the comfy clothes and a cute little Pumpkin Spice Drink. These are all found in the Bits and Pieces, the Sticker Book and the Chipboard stickers. It’s a lot of fun to mix and match these elements and layer them on the cards.
