Hello, Nicole here today to share a double page layout with a ton of full size 4x6 photos.
As soon as I saw the Simply Vintage Woodlands collection, I knew immediately the tone of this line would pair well with my nephew’s senior photo session. I love finding designs or sketches that allow for a lot of full-size prints especially for special occasions like this.
I used two patterns from the Vintage Basics Paper pack for the base of both sides, and for large mats for my photos. I loved the tone-on-tone map print that was included in the basic's patterns. I then trimmed strips from the 6x8 paper pad to go above and below the portrait 4x6’s on the left page. This was a fun way to bring in more colors and patterns while still allowing all those photos to be the focus of the layout.
I pulled out some of the large pre-made cluster pieces from the ephemera die cut pack to tuck behind my two smaller photos. The ephemera pack also has some labels and a round journaling spot that was perfect to build my title on. I used phrases from the sentiment bits and pieces to create a title that was simple and fit the feeling of my nephew - he’s a pretty chill, and simple guy.
From the 6x8 paper pad, I cut out the smaller polaroid frames from one of the patterns. This pattern was first on my list to play with as I feel like the little frames make the perfect embellishment to tuck in clusters, and in this case use them as a focal point for the right side where I used them to create a vertical border and bring in more interest to the side of the layout that is more photo heavy.
The Simply Vintage Woodlands collection is full of beautiful woodsy and adventure seeking elements and works great for even those simple memories.
If you want to see how I put this page together I have a process video over on my channel showing how I created this layout.
