So many times when you see a new fall collection, the colors are exactly what you expect. Cozy Days is one that will surprise you! It has a lot of the traditional fall colors with some beautiful blues and pinks added into the mix. Christine joining you today with a new layout showcasing this beautiful collection!
Right off the bat, I want to point out that this is the third layout in a row that I have used the Tags paper from the collection. This time I used it to be the top and bottom border of my layout. I love this new addition to the Simple Stories collections - and apparently it fits my style :).
My title work combines a variety of pieces from this collection including Chipboard, Bits & Pieces, and the Decorative Brads. The newly designed Decorative Brads have the look of brads but they don't have the prongs on the back, instead they are sticky. I've always loved the look of brads, but this just made them so much easier to use.
The Chipboard Frames in this collection are perfect for using on layouts. I framed both of my pictures with them and they were perfect for anchoring the layout.
I decided to use the icons on the frames as a base and then build onto those using Decorative Brads, Bits & Pieces, and stickers. I basically built my clusters around the frames and worked from there.
Each cluster has similar elements built into it - a pumpkin, brads, hearts, and a circle.
