Gather Together! by Kylie Kingham

Hello Simple Stories fans! It’s Kylie back with you today to share some ‘Fall’ themed scrapbooking using the gorgeous ‘Cozy Days’ collection. I loved all the different Fall themed patterns in this paper collection, from lush plaids to florals and cute icons. Like always, I had trouble selecting what papers I wanted to use on my page as they are all so cute and lovely. In the end I have used a sheet of the CINNAMON cardstock from the FALL- COLOR VIBE TEXTURED CARDSTOCK, as my border piece. Then I trimmed a 1cm edge off each side of the ‘FALLIDAY’ paper…..Umm hello gorgeous gingham print!

I cut a large half circle to layer on the right side of my page using the ‘CHILLY DAYS’ paper. Once in place I added some banner strips cut from ‘HELLO AUTUMN’ and ‘COMFY & COZY’. With all these different patterns layered together I loved the burst of colors it produced! I also added the scalloped border sticker along the bottom of the centered banner.

Using PUMPKIN textured cardstock, I backed my 4”x 6” photo so a small border edge could be seen and adhered it to my background. I used several of the chipboard stickers and die cuts to add embellishments to my page. Some were adhered with foam adhesive tape so that they sat up from the background, creating dimension.

For my large title I selected a coordinating phrase from the foam stickers and added to the left side of my page. This sat diagonally opposite to the chipboard banner sticker, creating a balanced effect for my layout and completing my overall design.
