Hello Simple Stories friends, it’s Becki here to share a scrapbook page with you that I created with the new Fun Times collection. Let the good times roll! The new Fun Times collection is here and it’s a must have! If you love bright, bold colors, you’ll LOVE this adorable new collection! It has a great amusement park theme but it’s also great for documenting fun, everyday moments, like getting ice cream on a hot summer afternoon.
I knew as soon as I saw this collection that I wanted to add some “fun” to some of my everyday layouts. I had some fun adding texture to the background with strips of patterned paper and foam adhesive to a sheet of Pool Color Vibe cardstock. There are two 3” x 4” photos on this layout. I decided to stack them vertically on my fun, textured background.
After adding the photos, I slightly overlapped the title in the negative space of the photo and to the right. Then, I added layers of balloon and star die cuts.
To the left of the photos, I added some fussy cut tags from the Tag Elements patterned paper as well as some white crochet thread and adhesive brads. I love the texture and dimension that these added to the layout.
As the final finishing touch on this layout, I added enamel dots to create a little shine on the balloons and the background of the page.
I am so happy with how this fun layout came together. I cannot wait to take a few photos at our state fair this year and scrapbook those memories with the Fun Times collection.
