Do you love floral layouts as much as I do? If so, I have the perfect collection for your spring-inspired photos! For this project, I used the Simple Vintage Flower Shoppe collection—and I absolutely love how the layout turned out. The colors are soft and pastel, and all the flowers and butterflies make it so easy to create something beautiful.
To start, I created this adorable flower cart using the Simple Stories x Spellbinders coordinating dies. It makes a perfect, dimensional ephemera piece! And the best part? You can recreate it again and again, using any colors you like. I used the matching Color Vibes and Color Vibes Woods cardstock to bring it to life.
Next, I fussy-cut a bunch of butterflies and flowers from the patterned papers. I also cut four strips of a woodgrain patterned paper to create a simple frame. I matted my photo using a mix of different papers, distressed the edges, and added it to my layout—right above my little flower cart.
For the title, I used a foam sticker that says “dreamer” and placed it over the photo. I also added a small subtitle, also from the foam sticker set. Then came the fun part—layering in all the flowers and butterflies!
To add extra detail, I drew butterfly antennas with a pencil, added tiny foam sticker flowers, and sprinkled on some enamel dots. I even used brad stickers as flower centers for a fun finishing touch.
This layout feels super soft and light—I love the happy, dreamy vibe it gives off. I'm so excited for spring and summer, and I can’t wait to keep scrapping with all the new Simple Stories collections!
See you soon, friends! 💛
