Andrea with you today sharing a new project using the new Homegrown collection by Simple Stories. I created a fun truck mini album to share our family adventures from last weekend when we visited the neighborhood’s Farmer’s Market. I used a 3D card cut file by Paper Closet Designs and altered it to make it work as a Mini album. The beautiful patterned papers and embellishments from the collection did the rest. I am so so happy with how this mini turned out.
I had a great time flipping through the papers, fussy cutting them, and choosing embellishments to decorate each one of the pages of this mini album. I love that it stands on its own and there are lots of elements that can be seen from the top of each page. They look like the truck is carrying fresh vegetables and flowers, how cool is that? I used the “GROW” foam sticker as the title to decorate the outside of the album.
I printed my photos in different sizes to create a fun effect when flipping through the pages. As always, I love to layer die cuts and stickers, playing with dimension and texture as much as possible. I used a pretty ribbon to keep the album closed.
