Hello, friends, it’s Becki here! There’s something about Halloween that makes scrapbooking so much fun! I created this layout using the Frightful Fun collection, and I had so much fun mixing the playful Halloween patterns with all of the spooky little details.
I started with a black background and layered orange and patterned papers to create a bold border around the page. The scalloped border peeking out around the edges adds a fun little detail and helps frame the entire layout.
For the main photo, I kept the design fairly simple so the photo would really stand out. I added a few floral pieces around the top corner and a large pumpkin along the bottom to help frame the photo.
The upper portion of the layout is filled with bats, which give the page a little movement and lead your eye toward the title. I love how the different sizes of the bats make them feel like they’re flying across the page!
For the title, I combined the “31,” “Happy Halloween,” and “BOO” pieces to create one big focal point. Adding the different fonts, sizes, and layers makes the title feel playful without needing a lot of extra embellishment.
A few finishing touches, like the little pumpkin, banner, and scattered embellishments, were all this page needed. I love how the Frightful Fun collection makes it easy to create a page that feels festive, colorful, and just a little spooky!
Now I just need to find some more Halloween photos to scrapbook! 🎃🖤🧡
