Hello, Nicole here today to share another double page layout with tons of photos and fun details.
For me, in the land of no fall weather, I tend to look at and use those gorgeous fall themed collections like Simple Vintage Autumn Breeze to document our Thanksgiving holiday and this collection was a perfect fit.
Knowing I had a lot of photos that I wanted to include, I looked for a double page sketch that allowed for a lot of smaller photos but still allowed me the design spaces to come in and decorate and have fun with the embellishing. I settled on a sketch that featured triangle designs and picked my favorite pattern of the entire collection to be the prominent piece - that amazing green tone on tone stripe had my heart from the moment I opened the paper pack.
I pulled in the white gingham pattern from the coordinating basics paper pack to play into that homey feel of Thanksgiving. Hand stitching details around the triangles is a fun technique that I like to include if I can and I love the added texture it brings to the layout.
I kept the smaller triangles on the right side pretty simple with some phrases and hearts from the 12x12 sticker sheet and the foam stickers.
For the left side, I clustered all my journaling around the title for a large cluster to fill the height of my three focus photos. Pieces from the die cut packs were tucked under the edges of my photo mat and helped bring in more of the colors from Autumn Breeze and balance out the overall page.
