School Life has many different faces these days, but here in Texas, we've been back to school since August and looking forward to Summer break already! For one of our newest teachers, I made this handy decorated composition notebook; just change up the embellishments if you'd like to make one for a student!
I've used a standard composition notebook with 100 pages. I divided the pages into five sections (with 20 pages in each section). For the first page of each section, I folded back the notebook paper and attached together with adhesive tape.
Next, I took a sheet of 12X12 paper and trimmed it to the length of the notebook paper. I left the original 12" length and folded in half. The paper was then placed around the folded notebook page and adhered. These make the cutest little dashboards to keep things organized!
The dashboard pages were decorated with handmade pockets, washi tape, die-cuts, stickers, etc.
To the very middle of the notebook, I made a large pocket page to hold various cut-out tags. I punched holes into the spine of the notebook and added an elastic cording to hold the pocket in place.
The tabs at the top of each dashboard were stickers that I laminated and then stapled into place!
