Karlla here, and I'm looking forward to sharing with you my first post of 2025. I can't believe I'm part of this design team.

When I see a collection like "For the Record", I can imagine a sequence of photos. And that's what I chose to do for this project.
I separated a forgetful mini photo of Pietro from a year old and I thought it was so beautiful to see how much he had a beautiful smile since he was little. As a basis for the project, I made an overlay of the papers "The Best Part and For the Record" and added a seam to finish it off.
To highlight all these photos, the "Keep Looking Up" paper, on it I placed 3 tags of the "Tag Elements", a cute tag "Journal Bits & Pieces". As a starting point, under the first photo, I used a tag cutout from the "Journal Elements" paper.
To identify the photos, I used the tags and numbers from the "Monthly Cardstock Stickers. All and elements and photos, I made overlaps of different heights with the help of foam tape. This helps to highlight and make it more fun.
I love composing the embellishments. The layout finalization part always makes me excited to see how my idea came to life. All of these overlay layers highlight each photo. As it is a project with many photos, knowing how to position the decoration helps in this prominence. Other details that I love... Enamel Dots and Decorative Brads!
I ended with "Sentiment Bits & Pieces," which was the choice of "Smile" as the title.
Creating this layout, it made me so happy. Being able to remember my son's early years was really beautiful!
